ConsultConsultSubclass 103
If you have children living in Australia, you may be eligible to apply for the Subclass 103 Visa to join them. This visa allows you to live in Australia permanently and potentially apply for Australian citizenship in the future. However, one major downside is the lengthy processing time. While there are other parent visas with faster processing times, they often come with higher costs.
Subclass 804
This Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 804) lets the aged parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident of Australia or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia and live permanently in Australia. Applicant must be in Australia at the time of application and at the time of application decision.
Subclass 143
The Subclass 143 Visa, also known as the Contributory Parent Visa, allows parents with children who are Australian citizens or permanent residents to live in Australia permanently. To be eligible, the applicant must have children living in Australia for at least 2 years and have a sponsor.
Subclass 173
Australian Contributory Parent Visa facilitates the parents of the eligible individuals to stay in the country temporarily. However, there is no facility to renew or extend the Subclass 173 Visa. An applicant must meet the balance of family test to apply for this visa subclass through his eligible children.
Subclass 884
The Contributory Aged Parent Visa (subclass 884) allows elderly parents of Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible New Zealand citizens to temporarily join their family in Australia. It is the first stage of a two-stage visa application that can lead to a permanent visa if the applicant applies for the Contributory Aged Parent Visa (subclass 864) within two years of the grant of the subclass 884 visa.
